Rochester Council on Aging bringing back social programming and more in April

The Rochester Senior Center will be offering most regularly scheduled programs starting in April, according to a press release.

Coffee & Conversation is offered on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays from 9-11 a.m. Scrabble is scheduled on Tuesdays from 9-11 a.m.

Stepping & Stretching will be held on Mondays & Thursdays from 2-3 p.m.

The Busy Bees will meet on Thursdays from 9-11:30 a.m.

French Culture & Conversation will be held on Thursdays at 10 a.m.

Line Dancing will take place on Tuesdays and Fridays at 9:30 a.m.

Chair Yoga will be held on Fridays at 12 p.m.

BINGO will be held on Wednesdays at 12:30 p.m.

Blood Pressure/Wellness Clinics will be held on Mondays from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Congregate lunches provided by Coastline Elderly Services will be served on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The podiatrist will be at the Rochester Senior Center on Thursday, April 1. Appointments can be made by calling the podiatrist’s office directly at 508-946-1444.

Daily breakfast is anticipated to resume in May. The kitchen at the Senior Center is getting a new refrigerator/freezer and a good old fashioned spring cleaning, officials said in the release.

Program participants should have a Covid Waiver on file at the Rochester Senior Center. Waivers are available at the front desk. Face coverings and social distancing will be required for all activities held at the Senior Center.
