Former Chelsea men Steve Clarke and Frank Lampard have both made significant moves up the betting in the race to replace Neil Lennon as manager of Celtic.
Lennon called time on his second stint in the Parkhead dugout on Wednesday after a 1-0 defeat to Ross County last Sunday left his side 18 points behind Rangers in the Scottish Premier League table.
John Kennedy has taken interim charge at the club and is still the favourite to be appointed on a permanent basis, although an original gamble that saw him go odds-on at 5/6 has now dried up, seeing his chances pushed out to 2/1.
Clarke and Lampard on the other hand have both seen their odds slashed over the past 24 hours,
…with the Scotland manager making the biggest move of any candidate after his odds were halved into 4/1 from 8/1.
Lampard is also 4/1 after being clipped in from 6/1, making the pair joint third favourites, with former Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe also in the mix at 3/1.
